Gestalt Coaching: Enhancing Your Competency
Tues., 1–6pm; Wed. & Thurs., 9am–6pm; Fri., 9am–3pm
Coaching has emerged as a distinctive competency and a professional calling. It is an important function that supports learning and intentional change. This workshop will outline, experimentally explore and practice the skills that constitute effective intervention from a Gestalt perspective. Organizational consultants, coaches, business and human service professionals will find this workshop particularly useful in learning: Gestalt theory, concepts and methods; tools for facilitating individual and small group change and development; and data based-based observations about one's use of self and the impact of one's presence as an intervener and coach. Extensive skill building sessions, with faculty consultation and feedback are built into this workshop. This is an intensive introduction to the larger International Gestalt Coaching Program sponsored through the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland Organization & Systems Development Integrative Study Center (GICOSDISC). The workshop earns International Coach Federation Continuing Coaching Education credits.
Fee per individual workshop: $695
Exploring Multiple Perspectives in the Change Process: Understanding Capacity, Capability, and Competency for Organizational Change
Begins Friday at 1pm and ends Sunday at 12pm
Throughout the ground of the change process run conscious and unconscious conceptual streams that impact intention and development. This workshop will explore and clarify concepts that underpin the change process and that affect our theoretical and experiential perspectives. Understanding these concepts better enable us to more fully articulate alignment between actions and outcomes. In support of our own work and practice, we will examine an integrative approach to meaning-making in contexts of change. This workshop is for experienced participants, and is not designed to review Gestalt theory or concepts.
