Executive Personality Dynamics for Coaches, July 20–24, 2008 in Wellfleet, MA with Dorothy Siminovitch, Mel Rabin, Peter Finkelstein, and Edwin Nevis. This powerful offering is designed for consultants and coaches who wish to strengthen their background in individual personality theory and assessment. The practice of coaching requires the ability to quickly grasp the personality dynamics of the person being coached, yet coach training rarely provides in-depth education in assessing and working with these issues. This intensive workshop focuses on understanding and working with characteristics and manifestations of narcissism, perfectionism and control, anger and conflict management, and depression and low self-esteem—how to coach each differently, and how to know when referral is necessary. Our emphasis will be on exploring cases from you own practices in relation to personality theory and dynamics. Co-sponsored by the ICF-accredited International Gestalt Coaching Program of the Gestalt Center for Organization & Systems Development and the Gestalt International Study Center (GISC). John D. Carter and Veronica Hopper Carter present a Master Teleclass on key concepts of Gestalt coaching and intervention on November 26, 2008, sponsored by Mobius Executive Leadership and Integral Leadership and Coaching. “Conversations with Masters” is a seven-month series of teleclasses for coaches engaging with pioneers and thought leaders in the field of coaching and Organizational Development.
